Operations in Porto Urucu - AW139

In June , Omni resumed operations at Petrobras' base in Porto Urucu, located in the middle of the Amazon rainforest and close to the equator. This is the first experience with the AW139 aircraft in the region. The model enshrined in offshore operations, was requested by the contractor to meet the demand for transporting passengers and supplies in the production clearings.

The mission is being carried out with excellence, due to the great availability of cargo and power of the equipment combined with the technical capacity of the crew to fly in the most diverse areas confined in the middle of the forest. As it is an atypical activity in this helicopter, the transfer from Rio de Janeiro to the remote base of Porto Urucu was complex. Thanks are due to the commitment of the areas involved, which allowed the operation to be carried out safely for the contractor's crew and passengers.
