ATR 42-500 plane joins the company's fleet
Omni Táxi Aéreo announces the arrival of its newest aircraft in Brazil, the model ATR 42-500, which can carry up to 48 passengers and has a flight autonomy for approximately 7 hours.
The acquisition and incorporation of the aircraft leads Omni to enter a new chapter in its history, diversifying the scope of operation and offering integrated transportation services for the Oil & Gas area. "The competitive air transport market of passengers and cargo in Brazil requires increasingly search for solutions that create customer value. Omni, with its pioneering and innovative spirit, is betting on this new integrated operation mode to serve the oil and gas industry with a solution that decreases the land transportation exposure risk to passengers. It can also improve the comfort of travelling, through scheduled flights, reducing waiting times at airports and increasing the efficiency of operations, "commented Roberto Coimbra, CEO of the company.
Manufactured by the Italo-French company Avions de Transport Régional, the ATR 42-500 is a twin-engine, turbo-prop aircraft, with acoustic reinforcement of the passenger cabin, increasing the comfort of the trip, ability to operate in smaller tracks and direct interconnection between large and medium-sized airports, increasing the coverage area of Omni Táxi Aéreo's operations.
