The Maintenance Board has expanded the list of capabilities of its laboratory located in Jacarepagua Base - Hangar II, with the inclusion of repair services, inspections and recycling Nickel Cadmiun batteries that power the OMNI fleet.
This inclusion has represented a significant savings in 2016, with services conducted in more than 30 batteries that were sent to external workshops.
For this expansion occurred investments in facilities, tools, staff training, and review processes. The services in the laboratory are now supervised by the Maintenance Inspector Silvio Albani and have the support of other areas of the company.
It is projected for 2016 other revisions in the list, including new components with the aim of increasing support for OMNI Operations, to the highest quality standards.
